Lago Titicaca

"It was a beautiful stay on the floating island. Our host, Nestor, was really helpful and very nice. The only way to the accomodation is to meet at the port and a boat from the lodge will pick you up. Nestor organised everything for us and as we were leaving dropped us back and made sure a taxi was booked for us. We had breakfast and dinner here - it is basic but was nice. Be prepared to bring water as you aren’t able to buy any unless you go to the bigger islands. We gave it a 9 for what it was. You can’t compare to a normal hotel, you are on a floating island and obviously the facilities are going to be a little different. It was nice and clean, and overall we were happy with our experience. It’s a unique but beautiful location."

"It was a little confusing - we arrived when it was dark and the accomodation is actually called Uros Jakana Lodge (not Logos Titicaca as shown on booking.com). We thought we were on the wrong island so it was a little tricky but once we spoke to Nestor we realised it was the correct accommodation."

"La poubelle des toilettes de la salle de bain n'était pas vidées après les passages aux toilettes des predecents voyageurs... la baignoire n'a pas de pommeau de douche, pas très pratique"

"Magnifique logdes sur une des îles Uros, avec une vue imprenable sur le reste des îles et Puno. Nestor est d’une grande gentillesse et tout est fait pour passer un séjour détendu. Possibilité de réserver des excursions et transports A/R depuis le port directement avec lui. Déjeunez au restaurant de la communauté un midi !"

"Het is een prachtig uitzicht! Nestor en zijn vrouw zijn supervriendelijk en bieden ook zelfs een tour aan naar Uros die zeker aan te raden is. Het ontbijt was met brood, fruit, fruitsap etc De bedden zijn comfortabel en de badkamer is heel groot en zo hygiënisch mogelijk (met zand ipv water) aangezien je op een eiland zit. Er is een bad met warm water en handdoeken zijn voorzien. Je kan zelfs even een plonsje doen in het meer vanaf deze locatie."
