"Island Hopper was recommended by a friend and didn't disappoint. The staff made us feel at 'home' right from the airport pick up. The beds are more comfortable than ours at home. The restaurant is also excellent! Hope to be back one day."

"האתר נמצא בכפר מסעדה, מאתר רואים את גר חרמון. (לצערנו היה סגור) הבקתה הייתה נקייה ויבשה, מיטה זוגית עם ג'קוזי בחדר, ספה נפתחת, אינטרנט, טלוויזיה, מיקרו, מזגן בכל חדר. כל הבקתות אותו דבר עם גלריה למעלה עם 2 מיטות. הבן אהב לשון שם. מגבות החליפו כל יום. בריכה מקורה ומחוממת וסאונה. שחינו כשבחוץ היה +3 מעלות מטבח כללי גדול עם אפשרות לעשות מנגל גם בפנים וגם בחוץ מול נוף המדהים, כמו כן יש גז, אפשר להכין אוכל. בעל הבית מאוד אדיב ונעים, ממש דאג לכל דבר מה שהיינו צריכים. אפשר לקבל ארוחות בוקר בתשלום. עזבנו את המקום עם חוויות טובות. נחזור."

"Het meest beviel ons de rust en hygiëne. We aten ontbijt en diner in het hotel. Vantevoren konden we aangeven hoe laat we het wilden hebben en wat we wilden eten. De kok luisterde goed naar onze wensen. Verder is het personeel zeer behulpzaam en helpt wanneer nodig."

Eigenlijk viel niets echt tegen. Omdat het een nieuwe lokatie is, merk je dat de medewerkers nog wat onwennig zijn en moet je pro-actief zijn. Zo hadden we handdoeken en een kopje voor 1 persoon op de kamer terwijl we met zijn tweeën waren. Als je erom vraagt zorgen ze snel dat het wordt opgelost. Als je TV wil kijken, houd er rekening mee dat je alleen YouTube video's kunt bekijken 😀 De lokatie is gelegen op een zeer stil punt in Zomba en heeft geen buitenterras, dat zou nog wel fijn zijn. En, zoals je wel vaker tegenkomt in Malawi, het weggetje ernaartoe is een zandpad met stenen en kuilen, dus houd daar rekening mee.

They were also super helpful with my queries around transport. My room was top quality. Spacious, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet despite the central location. "The people from the front desk are amazing, really helpful. They gave us towels for the beach, and beach chairs. They made our stay way better, including after checkout. The hotel has an almost private beach where they also gave us a beach umbrella, it was a paradise, all for us (we even saw manta rays). The location is perfect. Not far from the ferry, not far to nice beaches, not far from places to eat. The hotel is clean, nice rooms, nice bathrooms, they gave us complimentary waters and coffee in the room. Also, the hotel has a bar and a restaurant. At night it solved us having there something to eat having been all day out."

Everything in Turks and Caicos is expensive, and in North/Middle Caicos even more (that’s not the hotel). The restaurant of the hotel was good but expensive. It is a good alternative, even more if you don’t want to grab the car again, but I would check the prices before seating to see if they are ok for you.

"We know Zahara very well and this is the second time that we have stayed at the Playa de la Plata. We loved our apartment, which was bright , modern and well furnished . The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the whole complex is kept spotlessly clean. A very enjoyable stay - thank you!"

"We had a great and comfortable stay. I loved that they allowed me early check in and the staff were very friendly and helpful."

"We loved the quiet scenic location and the beautiful, elegant new resort with top tier facilities. Felt pampered by the staff and enjoyed the best massage. The resort provide free shuttle into Koror morning and afternoon, which is ideal for divers heading to the rock island dive sites. Loved the huge wall of windows showing us the turquoise kingfishers and long tailed white tropic birds."

Resort is tailored to Asian touists with a lack of English instructions on remotes, etc, but staff were super helpful.

Very isolated, surrounded by an abandoned resort. Menu very limited and expensive although the chef was very obliging and did cook of menu dishes for those who asked. Our room wasn’t cleaned twice and we had to remind someone to do it, we had to move rooms as the toilet facilities broke on our first room but this was handled quickly. For the cost of the room I would have expected a little more e.g. bottled water free in the room, tissues to be available in the room, better quality toilet paper.

"This is such a unique property and what an experience to stay in a Troglodyte home. We were welcomed warmly and thoroughly enjoyed sleeping in the cave like rooms, that were so spacious too. Dinner is available at the guesthouse for a reasonable price considering how much food they gave us too."

The showers in the bathrooms have zero water pressure, it was just a trickle of water unfortunately.
