"The location in the historic centre of Cuenca was perfect, and the lobby and garden were absolutely beautiful Everywhere was so clean and the maids really cheerful Also the team on reception were so friendly and helpful We loved the quality and selection of food at breakfast The face masks and hot water bottles provided in the room were thoughtful touches"

"Overall it was fabulous, but only spoiled slightly by attention to small details being sometimes missing… for example all the handles on the kitchen cupboard doors in our suite came off in your hand when you opened them. There was no kettle provided for making tea in this kitchen, just a coffee maker. They provided a huge selection of sugar but no small supply of coffee. The only hook in the bathroom was hanging off the wall. We were only given bread at breakfast some mornings and not others, and sometimes there was no yogurt or milk out for cereals. This was always rectified once we asked, but for this standard and price of hotel we would expect it to be not necessary to have to keep asking."

"Great spa with thermal spring water in a large swimming pool, a hotter small pool., cold pool, mud therapy pool and steam rooms. Lovely roomy Junior Suite. Weather was cool so we were glad there was heating to turn on."

"Would have liked more curtains very stylish but only covered half the windows. We had a meal in the Tucumán Restaurant in the same Hostería although great food and we advised my wife's gluten allergy she still got terrible symptoms of gluten contamination and there was no redress only an apology. Kitchen staff needs gluten free training."

"I left too early for breakfast so had no idea what it may have been like. Everything was cool especially Walter who was as friendly and as helpful as it is possible for a hotel manager to get. He helped me stash my motorcycle in the underground carpark and was more than willing to rise early to help me get on my way. Great location within walking distance of the historic centre. On the main road but the tram and car noise didn't bother me. Great value for the money."
