We didn't expect that "shared kitchen" means that the host is actually living and sleeping at the kitchen, but as we stayed for one night it was not a problem.

"My stay at this guest house was absolutely fantastic! The host was excellent, very kind, and provided a lot of detailed advice before my trip, which was incredibly helpful. Staying in a whole house was great! The location allowed me to spend very quiet and comfortable nights. It was conveniently situated close to the coastal road and within easy walking distance. When I travel to Tonga again, I will definitely choose to stay here! Highly recommend."

"We’re on cycling trip - not a big hill to come up. Nice breakfast, garage for bikes. Beautiful view from the terrace. 2 Bars/restaurants 300 metres away."

"One of the best places we have ever stayed; we really did not want to leave. Super high quality apartment and very comfortable. Well equipped for a holiday stay (but no oven). Lovely views across the mountains and also down to the lake. Easy walk down to the lake with a nice hotel/restaurant and even a small supermarket at the bottom of the road. About another 20 minutes into the town itself, along the footpath. So great location; peaceful and quiet without the Bled town crowds and traffic."

The hot water system will drive you mad - if, like us, you were brought up not to waste water! And bring your own shower gel etc.

"Provides every necessities like toiletries, towels and even wifi. They even provide free breakfast, some free snacks teas and coffees. Really convenient. Parking is provided as well."

A bit far from the city

"The hosts are really helpful and very nice. It is so important to be able to get some help and tips, when you are travelling. What I really liked, was the breakfast, where all guests have the opportunity to meet. All of us really connected well and we had a fabulous old years eve together."

If you are a light sleeper, you might find the noise from the road (10m away) and the railway behind it excessive, as well as noise from the next door neighbours with small kids, etc.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. "Super kind and helpful hosts (speak Spanish, English and French). Very big and well equipped rooms, hammocks and comfy seats to relax in the tropical garden, with various plants and trees... A restaurant just next door and a supermarket in short walking distance... only 15min to the airport... Very comfy bed and warm water shower... Would highly recommend this place!"

"Very helpful owner, Jose. He was very kind and welcoming throughout our stay. We also had access to a fully equipped kitchen, which was extremely convenient and made our stay much more comfortable. Only 15 min. away from skiing resort Romme Alpin. Highly recommended!"
