"Centrally located hostel close to the waterfront which was nicely decorated and had a spacious common and outdoor seating area as well as clean rooms, friendly staff and free drinking water, both hot and cold."

"Several things need addressing in the shared kitchen: the lack of a working microwave, 2 broken burners on the one stove-top, and, while minor, there were no teaspoons. The bathrooms also smelt a little musty."

"Very friendly & relaxed, fantastic location.Good free breakfast. Good 'hostel vibe'"

"The dorm was a little cramped and there was no 'rail' on the top bunk but these were very minor issues in the greater scheme of things"

"There's not a lot of choice for hostels in Durres but luckily it's not a problem because this is a great one!! The location is incredible, the space is great, breakfast included, and a big kitchen you can use any time. Best of all there's always (I've stayed here 2 times) a good social vibe"

"Everything is very nice, the location, nice breakfasts, and very clean, but more the people of volunteers, Lucia, Isabel and Ivan; they are so nice and welcome, always happy to answer your questions or just to have a conversation with you. And the cleanest lady (I don’t remember her name) but she was very kind and respectful every time she enter to the rooms to clean. Honestly very good option."

"Is not about the property: but it was a situation with a guest from Japan…she was very disrespectful with the volunteers, and the volunteers just they didn’t know how to control her…It was just the awkward moment for me."

The rooms are not large, but they’re spotless, comfortable, and have everything you need. What truly makes this place special, though, is the incredible warmth and hospitality of Lili and Vangjel. "This little hotel had the most amazing views and the owner and his son were extremely nice and helped us arranging one of our excursions to Sazan island and pirate cave that was good fun. Also gave us good tips for restaurants. We had some little issues during our stay that were resolved fairly quickly. Nice breakfast."

"Hotel Blini is a fantastic hotel with modern, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a/c. But more than that, the whole family and staff were so friendly and genuinely wanting to assist in any way to make sure our stay was perfect. The location is out of town - but this is only positive!! The lovely terrace is lively with locals stopping by on their morning and evening cycle route for coffees and homemade icecream. It's just wonderful to be a part of. The breakfast was excellent and we ate delicious dinners, trying all the vego fare. They arranged the bus to Valbone for us and charged a very small fee to store our bikes and luggage safely. Highly recommend!!!!"
