Hue Ecolodge

"I loved the location because it's in nature and away from the city's hustle. Submerged in green and right on the river's shore, with direct access to the water. It was quite something. The staff are super nice and breakfast was great, as well as the rest of the food a la carte, which I really enjoyed. The staff also organised scooter rental- super easy."

"If I have to be picky, while the room was comfy and had everything I needed, I would redecorate it with softer and calming colours."

"Great location around 3km from central Hue. Lovely surroundings as set in lush green gardens. Swimming pool very nice. Accommodation was spacious, clean and well equipped."

"We only stayed for two nights and needed to iron clothes. There is a laundry facility but it was 10 hours before we could get it back. Irons are not allowed because of the danger of fire in the bamboo rooms. Maybe a small non-bamboo facility at the lodge?"

"The lush gardens and grounds of the lodge are just beautiful. We wandered around down to the river and swam in the pool and it was quiet and so peaceful. Our rooms were very spacious and comfy. We ate in the restaurant for dinner twice and the menu choices and food were all delicious. The buffet breakfast was fantastic with so many choices and our favourite Pho, was just perfect."

"Nice and quiet setting away from the city, good breakfast and value. Great shower and nice little balcony. I enjoyed my time there and would stay again."

"The beds are quite stiff if this is important for you. Getting to and from the city isn't a big deal, but it's something to consider (about 15-20 minutes by grab or scooter). Of course this is the reason for the quiet and idyllic setting. Also not a major issue, but I dislike when a statement is made about water conservation and that if you leave towels hung up they won't be changed (there are signs for this in the room as a green initiative), but then they're always changed and replaced with fresh ones anyway no matter what you say or do."

"Peaceful and calm but not too far out of town. Staff were helpful with arranging scooter hire. Restaurant was also impressive. A good selection of local food with a few western options. Facilities available were high quality."

"The room was lovely. Spacious and clean. The bath was great The buffet breakfasts were generous with a wide variety to choose from. Generally the staff were helpful and friendly."

"The grounds were a bit overgrown although it seemed like there was some upkeep starting to happen while we were there. The pool also could do with a bit of maintenance as there were some cracked/broken tiles. The food at the restaurant was a bit of a disappointment- quite bland, presumably catering to 'tourist' tastes. We would have liked something more authentic. For an 'ecolodge' it was disappointing that staff were smoking on the outside verandah of the dining area during the dat. Family groups in the pool were pretty loud at times but having fun and not offensive."

"Great location with lots of greenery and nature all around. The bungalows are well placed with plenty of space around them, so you can really feel private and relaxed. The pool is big and very clean, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, including vegetarian options"

"Nice eco lodge with large rooms. Our kids loved the space. The pool was nice with a good bar, and happy hour. Breakfast was good. The menu for lunch was good and nicely priced."
