"Staff are friendly and helpful. It has a nice old world atmosphere and rooms are a good size. Importantly the split system air conditioning worked although struggled a bit during the hottest part of the day. February is the hottest month typically 31c with high humidity."
"The position is good for island ferry services although most don’t run in the off season but it is a long 30 minute hot walk to the main shopping area. The owners of the hotel do have a shop next door which also has a liquor store. The included breakfast was fixed at either eggs some days or pancakes others. Perhaps there is more choice during the main tourist season."

"Location excellent right across from Harbour as we went on boat daily Whale swims! Staff were the highlight just so lovely and put to please…… The restaurant was the best in town too! We were able to gather on balcony each afternoon as we were a group of 8 a beautiful garden outlook. Lots of noise, but that’s Tonga, church bells ringing early in the morning and dogs barking so Ear Plugs a must!!"

"Good location opposite the wharf. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Garden at the front shades the balcony which is a lovely spot to sit and relax in. Restaurant downstairs has a good range of dishes and was very popular. Staff were friendly and helpful."
