"ubicación perfecta para recorrer el interior de la isla. Aunque en maps me me indicaba que para pocos kms se tardaba mucho ( es decir, malísimos caminos), no fue así y llegamos a la primera una vez que pasas la población de São José. La casa está todavía en construcción algún dormitorio. El entorno es una maravilla, rodeado de naturaleza. La primera noche cenamos en el porche pero ya a partir del segundo día nos amenazaban las hormigas. Nos esperaron para darnos las llaves. Las habitaciones arriba son muy amplias con balcón y vistas. Las camas cómodas. Hay dos baños con ducha, a mí me resultó más cómodo el de abajo, el de arriba no cerraba la puerta. La cocina dispone de barra americana, horno (no muy limpio), cocina a butano y todo el menage está fuera. Buena relación calidad-precio"

"Podría mejorar un poco en limpieza de la cocina. La barra americana dispone de 3 taburetes (eramos 4) y muy altos, cuesta un poco subirse."

"La ubicación es ideal para conocer la zona de Monte Café. Entorno natural y cercano para visitar algunos de los lugares comúnmente conocidos para visitar. La casa es preciosa. Creo que hay la opción de que la familia del señor que vigila la finca te traiga desayuno y comida, pero nosotras como traíamos nuestra propia comida pudimos cocinar sin problema en la fantástica cocina que está totalmente equipada. Tuvimos un par de cortes de luz, pero no importa, es normal allí. Tampoco hay wifi en la casa, ocasión perfecta para desconectar, pero no para el que sí necesita internet."

"Nos perdimos un poco al llegar, ya que no hay muy buenas indicaciones para llegar y el GPS nos llevó a la calle incorrecta. Tuvimos que ir a otro alojamiento y un amable trabajador llamó al señor que nos vino a recoger y nos llevó al alojamiento."

"Rooms are spread over several terraces with lots of flowers. We were on the top and had a great view. Being at elevation, it's nice and cool at night. No fans needed. Great new showers with good hot water. They have a pump system through which there is still water when the power is out. A generator is turned on if there is a power cut in the morning or evening. The restaurant is very good. During lunch it is particularly well visited. For breakfast and dinner it's primarily hotel guests. Great breakfast with lots of fruits and good bread. Dinner was a daily changing dish by a daily rotating local chef. Large parking lot. Nearby attractions are Monte Café and Cascata de São Nicolau."

"A wonderful , basic cabin located in the arguably the best location on the island . Surrounded by acres of exotic fruit and native forest beyond. Birdlife is prolific. This is a place to stay for birdwatching with flocks of African grey parrots, kingfishers, egrets .. and so much more to see.. Excellent value meals can be brought to your table daily. Freshly caught fish, local grown fruit and rice. No need to cook . It's good quality and great value. Bring cash for guides and daily, national park entry fees . The beach is amazing ... REALLY"

"A good budget choice in a country where affordable options are limited. Each room has an AC, some rooms have a fridge. The manager Cassio speaks fluent English (rare in Sao Tome) and is very responsive to WhatsApp messages. The rooms operate like self contained apartments, you'll have a key and can come and go as you please (there's no reception so you won't feel like you're being watched"

"Price quality wise this is the place to stay on the island. You’ll need transport however, the restaurant next door was so good we ate there three nights in a row. Absolutely spotless! The pool is a real treat after a long day of adventures. All the staff are very kind and the breakfast was good too."

"We are a family of 6 and we spent 20 days in this 3 bedroom spacious and comfortable house with excellent facilities and everything worked well starting from the air conditioning in all of the rooms, the standby generator, kitchen appliances ie: boiler, washing machine, fridge, kettle, microwave, cooker etc, big smart TV with Netflix amazon prime in the living room. Located in the city centre and close to the shops and restaurants with easy street parking. The house also have a well maintained private front garden where residents can relax.. The house has been recently refurbished."
