Situated in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, IceHotel features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice from the neighbouring Torne River. Warm rooms are also offered. A bookable sauna experience featuring a sauna, wood-burning hot tub and ice bath is available for a fee. Holding a temperature between -5 to -8 degrees Celsius, the individually themed cold rooms include hand-carved ice furnishings by international artists. Guests sleep in thermal sleeping bags on beds covered in reindeer hides. In the morning, guests can enjoy the shared sauna. All warm rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels, dining area, and a private bathroom equipped with a shower. Free WiFi is offered in all rooms. The on-site IceHotel restoran serves traditional dishes with locally produced ingredients. Guests can relax with hot drinks and snacks in the warm lounge, or enjoy cocktails served in glasses made out of ice in the below-freezing Icebar. Guests can enjoy a complimentary entrance ticket to the IceHotel. The area around the property is popular for outdoor winter activities such as dog sledding, reindeer sled excursions, and snowmobile tours. The staff will also be happy to arrange activities such as river rafting, hiking, and fishing. During summer season, guests will experience midnight sun. In the winter, guests can enjoy northern lights if lucky. The closest airport is Kiruna Airport, 14 km from the property.

"Kamarnya cukup besar dan nyaman. Pada malam hari suasana sangat senyap dan gelap sehingga kami dapat menikmati aurora borealis dengan jelas, sangat menyenangkan. Kami sekeluarga cukup lama menikmati aurora malam itu. Menu sarapannya cukup variatif untuk kami yang berasal dari Indonesia. Pelayanannya sangat ramah dan menyenangkan. Sangat direkomendasikan bagi mereka yang ingin "istirahat" dari kehidupan sehari-hari."

"We stayed in a cabin, and it was perfect. It had everything we needed—cutlery, a mini kitchen, and a toilet. There’s only cold water in the cabin, but we used the public kitchen to wash the dishes. Since it was slightly off-season, there were very few guests at the campsite, which made it nice and quiet. We chose this campsite because all reasonably priced hotels in Gothenburg were fully booked, and it was conveniently located on our way from Copenhagen."
