"We had great days!! It is a wonderful place to stay with everything you need. There is a great beach to snorkel just a few minutes from the house and you can easily explore the island by car. And the pool was very nice for some relaxation. Lydia was always there to answer questions or to give some advice. Let her know in advance if you wanna rent a car. She will help you."

"When you imagine your vacation at a place as beautiful as the Seychelles, this is what you imagine. And some things you probably couldn't even imagine. Casa Doro is a special place, with a special host. We've spent 8 amazing days here, and I only regret we didn't have more time. We've been traveling with booking.com for years, visiting many countries and staying at many lovely accommodations, but nothing came close to what we experienced here. I won't go into detail about what made our stay here so special, as it would just be listing superlatives. I'll just highly recommend Casa Doro to everyone, and let you experience it yourself. "I'm sure even the most sensitive travelers would find it hard to be bothered by something here. I'll say this, more as advice, than a complaint. The house is situated on top of a very steep hill (part of the incredible experience and view), which will be hard to climb on foot, but not impossible (we've done it, while carrying a baby - wouldn't recommend). Thus either have a car rented, or be prepared for a solid daily exercise. I assume, for those in great shape, it's not even that hard."

"Casa D'Oro was like a home away from home. Lydia, the host, is wonderful. She makes you feel at home and loads you up with loads of fresh fruits from her garden. We were welcomed with coconut water (which was easily among the best I've had). Our fridge was also neatly stocked with bread, butter, jam, and eggs. The view from the villa is exceptional and the private pool is oh-so-amazing. Will definitely come back here!"

"Nothing really, everything was as expected. The flat is up quite a steep hill which was a bit of a challenge for our rental car after it rained but can't really fault the host for this, just something to be aware of."
