Moon Light Camp

"We are a norwegian family of eigth, 3 generations, that planned a 12 days holiday in Oman. We were very happy with our stay at Moon Light Camp. Perfect location on a hill in the desert. The sleeping tents were on poles and there was a larger tent for dining and social life. Quad motorbikes and camel riding was great fun and the food exceeded expectations. We highly appreciated the service of the camel and the quad guides."

"No dislike but we stayed during Ramadan and got breakfast and dinner but lunch had to be improvised. Management could have planned this a little better."

"I was did booking through booking.com for dulux rooms. While reach the property some of the point happen. 1. Dulux room means tent without electricity, ac, no charging space 2. We need additional 6riyal person for dinner 3.need to pay 6 riyal for pickup and drop per person .. 4.activities extra.. Basically at the end of the day its not economical stay .. i was spend 120 riyal for two person for one day .."

"The location is immense - right in the heart of the dunes, can't see any other camps in eyesight. We upgraded to the VIP room on arrival for extra cost - so clean, quaint and nice shower. Quad biking at sunset is a must do, Yasir was excellent with us, and you get to ride up and down into the heart of the desert for sunset. We also did the sandboarding which was a lot of fun. Highly recommend moonlight!"

"Great location with a bit of elevation so you get a better view than the camps in the valley and you’re a bit further away from the busy area Very comfortable beds Tents on stilts well separated with no outside lighting so you can soak up the atmosphere We enjoyed the dinner We would recommend the sunset drive, it was great fun and gets you to a better sunset spot We got slightly lost on the way there. You need to drive a little bit beyond the Google maps locator to find the signpost up to the camp"

"The shower was remarkably powerful for the middle of the desert and we loved showering to moonlight but the water was cold"

"It was an incredible experience living at this camp. Service was on top. Perfect place and a lot of possibilities to get a sunset tour, or ride on a Camel, or fly with a balloon. Special thanks to Sultan, our driver, who drove us like Schumacher in the dunes during our sunset tour! 😊✌️"

"This is amazing! You're in the middle of the dunes,l and yet have all the amenities of a hotel - A/C, fridge, shower. And there are awesome activities available extra, e.g. dune bashing or quads. The staff is also super helpful and nice."
