Nirvana Kuti

"We loved Nirvana Kuti, the location is fantastic. There is a locals cafe outside the front door, and drinking chai there every night is one of our favourite memories whilst travelling Nepal. The bedroom is very comfortable & clean, especially the room with a balcony. Excellent to take in the sights and sounds of Kathmandu during sunset. The host Bobby is an incredibly kind man - he picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, took us on a guided tour of Durbar square, and shared many a chai with us at the local cafe. Fantastic memories! I’d urge anyone to stay at Nirvana Kuti to have a truly local experience with a brilliant host."

"The location of the hotel is close to Durbar Square and other sights; with the most rooms having views of the neighbourhood, and being well maintained. The proprietor provided substantial support from greeting on arrival, guidance on accessing local services and arranging transport for trekking."

"Bobby the owner pick me up from the airport he was my personel assistant for 3 days and also dropped me off at the airport. He got me a sim ,told me were to go for days out best places to eat everything you want to no about nepal .He gives you his watapp no so if you need him for anything just text him you dont have to worry about anything 😀"

"Bobby met me at an airport for a fee which was also helpful as he did a great job orientating me around khatmandu. There's 3 floors/ rooms. I started off on the 1st floor then moved to the top balcony room which was great. There's a roof anyway which is great to hang out. Amazing view of temple outside. The last day a little owl 🦉 was perched comically looking at us inquisitively. The room is spacious, there's a bathroom with toilet and shower. Warm or hot water available from 10am due to solar, kitchen had kettle, tea and coffee. Nice touch having an electric blanket 😊 Location was amazing, in rustic durbah Square. Bobby super helpful and always responsive and we shared some common human experiences I appreciated. I hope to return"

"This is only information for others as it didn't negatively impact my stay Be great if bathroom adjoined the bedroom so you don't need to worry about getting dressed if a guest on another level comes past. But they never did so it wasn't an issue. Beds were firm which is ok for me."

"Bobby is absolutely incredible his hospitality is 11/10. He really cared from minute 1 about making me feel comfortable. Casually had some time and showed me around the most traditional temple in town, kindly took me to a few place and explained heaps about Nepalese traditions. We chat about travelling experiences and life all together. The place is really cool, located in a very traditional area and close to the most traditional parts of Kathmandu."

"The place is much more of what you would expect. The whole floor was basically given to me with kitchenette, a bathroom of my own, very cozy bed and spacious room. Worth every cent."

"My second time at Nirvana Kuti. Everything about the place, the facilities, location, Bobby's resourcefulness to facilitate your stay and exploring of Kathmandu is unmatched. Its my fourth time on Nepal and I wish I had found the place sooner! Its the Nepali winter and I was kept cozy with thick duvets and there was no issue with hot water during my stay this or previous time."

The Kuti itself is very comfortable and well maintained. The host bro is extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming. He assisted us with everything we needed and made us feel truly at home. His hospitality made the stay even more special. I highly recommend Nirvana Kuti to anyone looking for a calm, spiritual, and relaxing experience. I would definitely love to come back again...."
