"Village location, walking distance to Blue Grotto (25mins) or 10 mins on bus of which there are stops directly outside property, giving easy access to all parts of the island. Walking distance to Hagar Qim temple complex (20mins). Four or five grocery stores/ convenience stores in village, supply everything you need at reasonable prices. The room is comfortable with aircon and a small well equipped kitchenette. Bathroom with good shower and washing machine should you need it. Covered balcony to the front with countryside views. Host Maria easily contactable and replies quickly. Veneranda on site for any issues you may have and very friendly and informative, great local knowledge and nothing too much trouble. Will definitely return, thank you for a wonderful stay."

"This was the perfect rest stop on our walk around Malta. Bright, clean and thoughtfully set out and close to the Coastal Walk and right on the Camino Malta route. We could wash our clothes and easily dry them on the big covered balcony as a washing machine, drying lines and pegs were all provided. Plus the host was lovely and helpful."

"Absolutely nothing. A heads up is that Bookings.Com provided the wrong location on Maps.me and Google Maps. We messaged the host, who got back to us immediately and sent the exact location to our WhatsApp."

"The location is 4 minutes away from Wied iz-Zurrieq and 8 minutes away from Ghar Lapsi, Mnardja Temples and Hagar Qim are also very close. It is tranquil and peaceful just next to l-Maqbuba, great for walks. I loved having a washing machine that we could use. Room is very comfortable and large with a great view."

"I loved this property. Its a lovely quiet and peaceful spot to explore the south of Malta. Well equipped and a lovely balcony. So useful to have the washing machine and drying line on the balcony."

"The host is very friendly, she allowed us to stay a bit longer, so we could take a taxi to the airport (we had an afternoon flight). The place is spotlessly clean, nicely located, approximately 20 min walk to blue grotto. Bus stop from Valetta a few steps from the apartment."

"Me and a friend came to qrendi to see the fireworks on the st marija feast and it was great. The view from the terrace is beautyfull to see the fireworks. The people from the appartement are extremely friendly and helpfull..the weather was great aswell ..we had a great stay and we will return for sure to celebrate the feast again. Jody jansen."

"I liked the convenience of the lock box, Amanda the host was very informative and easily contactable when required. It was an easy walk into the main square of Xaghra, and the little convenience store 2 doors down was very handy. The bus stop was less than a 2 minute walk from the property which was also handy. The kitchen was well equipped, there was plenty of fans throughout the property. We enjoyed our time here, and would stay here again if available when travelling."

"We had stayed at Matthews other home last time when in the area and this time we have chosen this home! Glad we did so!! Located close to the square but you hardly hear a thing from the top floor. Home was clean comfortable and good water pressure in both showers. The outdoor hot tub was a big plus as we spent the evening using it seeing the town light-up slowly, slowly during the night. 10/10 Well done you will be seeing us again."

"The location was brilliant, with local amenities. Very quiet area but close to St Julians for example. The apartment was mainly used for sleeping and breakfast, so was comfortable enough for that. Would definitely recommend and use again in future."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed every aspect of it. The property is extremely well-maintained and impeccably clean, with a level of service that is simply outstanding. The breakfast was excellent – fresh, varied, and absolutely delicious. One of the highlights was the spacious balcony with a beautiful sea view, which made the experience even more special. The rooftop terrace offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and the bay – definitely not to be missed. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, making it easy to explore the island using any type of transportation. I highly recommend choosing this hotel when traveling to Malta – it was an excellent experience overall."

"Owners were very nice to us, it was pleasure to talk to one of them :) The place is amazing: very clean, big, but also you feel there very private. The interior is cozy and just beautiful. The view was outstanding! I’ll never forget that fields view :) And the pool is nice, it was still a bit cold to swim, but when it’s warmer it’ll be perfect.
