"The hotel was beautiful. We had a lovely time. They should actually take better pictures to show off just how nice it is. The pictures don’t do it justice. The staff were friendly and it was clean and tidy. We loved it and we definitely go back again"

"The only issue is you have to be let in by someone else. We have a room key but the front door is locked. Which makes it safe but you can’t go in and out as you please as such."

"Riad Ritaj is an absolutely beautiful small hotel. We were welcomed by the receptionist with some Moroccan tea whilst our rooms were getting ready. The entrance hall with the fountain in the middle is just breathtaking. The rooms and all common spaces are beautifully decorated and spotless clean. The terrace at the top was an incredible location from where to watch the sunset. The hotel location right near the main square was perfect to go explore. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with eggs, pancakes, juice, coffee, and tea. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Great stay in the hidden gem of the city of Meknes."

"Beautiful riad with lovely rooftop terrace from which to enjoy incredible sunset views. Rooms are full of character and very comfortable. Unfortunately, construction noise from the neighbouring building continued very late into the night. After calling reception at 10:40pm, the staff went and spoke to the workers, at which time it thankfully stopped. If staying here soon, perhaps ask to have a room on the opposite side of the hotel. Apart from the noise, which was not the fault of Riad Ritaj, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. Excellent location and parking is nearby."

"The riad is beautiful, it is an old palace. It's decorations are stunning! It's localized in the medina - walking distance to all the important spots, cafes and restaurants. Rooms are nice and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff wasvery nice and helpful. Breakfast was good - typical for Marocco - continental ( sweet) :)"

"The Riad is beautifully decorated and easy to find near the entrance of the medina Th staff were really wonderful helping us out with recommendations of places to eat and day trip arrangements to nearby sights (HIGHLY recommend both chateaux roslane and volubilis for very different but equally excellent experiences!) Rooms were comfortable and the view from the terrace was lovely"
