This luxury Riad sits next to Othello Garden, 550 metres from the fishing port. It offers a wellness centre and wellness centercious air-conditioned suites combining traditional Moroccan style and modern facilities. The entire Mumtaz Mahal Riad has tiled and marble floors, and is decorated with beautiful mirrors and oriental furniture. The suites are all equipped with flat-screen TV. A continental breakfast is served daily and can be enjoyed in the suites or on the outdoor terrace with sea view. Guests can also relax at the Mumtaz Mahal's bar and in the Moroccan lounge. The reception is open 24 hours and offers tour desk service. Many activities are possible in the area including camel riding and visiting Morocco in a 4x4 with a driver and a guide. Mumtaz Riad provides shuttle service to Essaouira Airport, just 14 km away. Car rental is also possible on site.

"Very good location and quiet place. Nice and comfortable room and bathroom. The staff went above and beyond to fulfill all my wishes. They prepared vegetarian breakfasts especially for me, opened the terrace on a windy day so we could enjoy the view, and upon check-out kindly offered a complimentary 30-minute massage in the spa area as an apology for the temporary card payment issue. Their attentiveness and genuine care made the stay truly special. I felt very well looked after."
"I realized that riads are not really my preferred type of accommodation. They tend to be quite dark, and the room did not have a view – the window faced the neighboring building. The room itself was rather dim, which can create a slightly gloomy atmosphere during the cooler season. However, the heating function of the air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room comfortably warm. I did miss having a bedside lamp for reading at night. As a vegan, I found the breakfast options somewhat limited, but I truly appreciated the staff’s efforts to accommodate my dietary preferences and provide the best possible alternatives."
