"A house full of character and very spacious, in a nice location for travelling by rail and road. More like a hostel, with shared facilities, which were, btw, very good."

"Lovely and colourful spot in a beautiful Latvian countryside with a feeling of a "ranch" - there are goats, chickens, cats, dogs and a lake just opposite that you can sail on with a boat. The host is very friendly and welcoming (Russian speaker, no English) and will prepare breakfast at an extra charge if you ask for it (we had delicious "blini" and fried eggs + sausages - the host asks what you want to eat). The place is full of art (paintings) and rooms are large and colourful - the place has a very unique character. Call the host directly for information about choice of rooms."
