Super calm and peaceful in beautiful surroundings - a tonic after Dakar and Saint Louis. Relatively accessible for Saloum Delta which we loved. Great air conditioning. Lovely swimming pool"

Water pressure was low at certain times - pipe being repaired, so perhaps temporary. You'll need a car to get around (we got a taxi for 10.000 - 15.000 CFA each way to Ndangane.)

The wifi service wasn't not getting it in the apartment have to go out side.

"We really felt welcomed. The owners prepared a home cooked dinner and breakfast with local products. Really nice family - like staying at grandma’s :)"

"It is a unique carribean cottage, which is a little gem. It is a five minute walk to a lovely beach. We cooked in as the kitchen had everything one required. We had our meal out on the verandah next to the kitchen and watched the sunset. Sabina is a wonderful hostess. When we arrived she tried to book as into a restaurant but it was full so she took us to the local supermarket to ensure we would have a good meal. Keith was also really helpful and a great guy. We wished we had booked it for longer."

Unfortunately there weren’t enough cots but they ensured when we came back a couple of days later there was one for us. Perhaps a few more cots are needed.

"A little gem of a hotel in a most beautiful location. The staff give an extremely warm reception, they are super friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and what can be done…..if they didn’t know, they knew someone who does. For example, they arranged a night watching the turtles and a guide to walk some local waterfalls. The food was out of this world, fresh and local produce cooked by chefs who’ve been cooking their whole life."

"This is a fantastic location if you want to get away from the bustle of the city and only half an hour from the airport and Agadir. Beautifully restored Kasbah with productive gardens and a salt water pool (perfect if like me you can't cope with chlorine) We were lucky enough to visit after rain and the wildflowers blooming in the surrounding fields were beautiful. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly."

"I loved the calmness, convenient location and very supportive team. Cyril made sure I had the best experience in Victoria falls. He also helped me with all my activities and recommended great places for me to eat at or visit. The place was great with all that I needed, fully equipped kitchen, delicious breakfast etc.I will add my ink and voice to the rest of the travellers to say this hideout is highly recommended. Thank you Cyril and Team. I made it safely Back to Uganda and will ensure you have more visitors from Uganda 😃"

Some of the appliances are tired and therefore unreliable and need updating . The internal phones dont work so if there is a problem you have to call the reception in a building down the hill on your cell which if you are from abroad is an expensive exercise.

"Very welcoming and happy staff. They were so kind and caring. The place was warm and the fire place in the common area was a nice touch (we visited in winter). Everything was explained so well. We loved the pool and onsen! Truly a spa resort! Thanks."
