"The owner is very kind and helpfull, also if you need to organize something out of the Villa. He is also a top Chef, therefore eat at the villa!"

"Our stay at Yala Villa was very enjoyable. We spent five exceptional days there, and the service was very friendly. The room was large, clean, and of a very good standard. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious and varied. We had the opportunity to meet the owner, a very nice and kind man. I recommend it to others who are looking for peace and quiet. Dorota I Zbyszek"

"Lovely staff, beautiful property and the rooms are stunning. Very comfortable and homely in the rooms. We appreciated the staffs attentiveness and they really wanted us to enjoy our stay. They also organised a safari for us at Yala and the location of the villa is great for that!"
"As some feedback it would be good to know about chef service prior to arrival so we could think about having dinner there before our late arrival. It might be good to ask guests prior to arrival if they would be interested in the chefs services."

"The property is beautiful. The room we stayed at was quite spacious. The dinner was really tasty and needless to mention the staff was really friendly and hospitable."

"This is simple accommodation but absolutely perfect and in a lovely setting in the wild."
David Yala Wild House
"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."
"I was absolutely amazed by the treehouse and the beauty of the surroundings. We were also really well taken care of. I would absolutely go and stay again!"

"Staff were lovely and cooked amazing food. Very accomodating and helpful to assist us. Pool was lovely and the rooms were so comfortable"

"Reasonably priced compared to alternatives in the area. Our half day (evening) Safari guided by Nikki was great and we noted that most other vehicles in block A didn’t have a guide and hence struggled to spot wildlife. Some food was very good - especially the curries at lunch. We loved the set up for the dinner by the bonfire. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly."

"Location, pool, stuff, wild elephant comes to hotel in the morning"
"Breakfast and dinner was superb, a mix between Sri Lankan and western dishes. The team was very attentive for all our needs and the kids loved the pool. Great place to stay for a night or two."
