Kuma Beach side Villa

"We visited Wadduwa for a wedding, this villa's location is within 5 mins walking distance to the wedding venue. The bedroom was spacious and the beds were comfortable. AC is working - just the right temperature. Even though it's a homestay we felt that there's enough privacy :))) We used the cold shower (there's electric shower too) since it's very hot and humid. We used our own toiletries. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious! I probably had the best homemade dhal curry with string hoppers and roti. The sambol also had a nice kick to it. Mr Kuma also made me omelette. Freshly brewed coffee in the morning amidst birds and squirrels is a wonderful feeling whilst watching trains passing by. He also recommended us nice restaurants nearby."

"Lovely spot about a 5 minute walk to the beach. As others have mentioned, it is located adjacent to the railway tracks. Didn't notice any train noise at night. Very nice host family."

"Everything! Kuma and his family are wonderful and kind people. They made our stay here amazing. The room was comfortable (ac worked great) and the breakfast was amazing! Can definitely recommend the Sri Lankan breakfasts (he also offered western style if you prefer). The location is right next to the beach in a quieter area of town, the train noises didn’t bother us at all and were mostly covered by the ac! The villa itself is a gorgeous property and we felt very at peace here."

"Beautiful villa with hospitality and friendly owner and his family. Nice garden with lizards, beards and animals, big rooms and bathrooms, big bad for two adults, breakfast like continental but with local colours, lovely Wadduwa and warm Indian Ocean."

"Kuma was very welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable from the first minute. He offered us a nice cup of tea after our long journey and his wife even made us traditional coconut biscuits for the Christmas breakfast :) Beautiful house and lovely people! We had a great first night in Sri Lanka and a perfect start for our holidays. Next time we'll make sure to stay at Kumas place for a longer time."
