"The location is perfect for Vientiane, within a short walk of everyrhing. Very clean, safe apartment and the staff are very helpful"

"Very little to complain about. The safe in the room didn't work, but there is full time security on site so nobody was getting in anyway"

"The property got back to me with an offer to cancel my booking for free because they had a water leakage issue. They also offered a similar alternative accommodation right next door and said they will waive 1 night's charge if I accept the alternative option. They said we could decide after seeing the alternative option. We say the alternative option, which was quite good and great value with 1 night's charges waived. The whole thing worked quite smoothly."

"We had requested for a late check out at 2.30 pm but we were told that once we cross 1 pm, we will have to pay for a late check out. This was clearly a rule book based approach without any flexibility."

"Really nice place, great living room, great bedroom, great shower. Building was clean, apartment was clean, huge refrigerator and seperat A/C for each room. New towels placed outside door each day with complimentary water. Cleaning available on request. Gas station near by if you rent wheels to get around. And both restaurant/bars and massage places within 100 meters from the hotel. Close to the city center."

"Our stay at Niraxay Apartments turned out to be very nice indeed. Our Apartment was modern, and had two big bedrooms, both with attached large bathrooms. There was a comfortable living room complete with TV, sofas etc. Kitchen is very well equipped with a cooking range, microwave oven, utensils and crockery. Apartment is situated on the third floor and is reachable by a lift. A well-equipped gym is available on the second floor. Daily cleaning service is provided on request. Location of the Apartment is in a nice, lively area - very close to Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn hotels which can serve as a handy landmark. On the ground floor of the Apartment is a lovely little cafe. One of the best features of the Apartment is the young Manager, Taiy! He is forever smiling and happy to help. All in all, an excellent place to stay in Vientiane."

"We were in an apartment and did our own catering . All equipment available . Great fridge . Rooms were super large and very comfortable . Great bathroom and shower."

"We didn't dine in the restaurant down stairs as there were no vegetarian options. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. Especially the Italian."

"Host - Mr. Taiy - was very welcoming and answered all questions/concerns. The room was huge and clean. Complete with all cooking utensils. Perfect for long term stays."

"I think they can improve on check-in instructions. The hotel's check-in area was their cafe/resto at the ground floor. It could help if it's included in the message after booking how check in would go so guests would know what to expect."

"We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse in Luang Prabang. It felt incredibly cozy and homey from the moment we arrived. The family who runs it are some of the kindest and most supportive people we’ve met. Their energy is so pure and genuine — you really feel that they care about their guests, not just about making money. That kind of warmth is much more important than any small amenity details. The location is also perfect. Everything is easy to reach, and honestly it’s not necessary to stay right on the riverside. The riverside area can be quite busy and noisy, so this location felt much more peaceful while still being very convenient. Thank you for everything ❤️ Meri and Tomoya"

"I was impressed from the moment I walked in. The lobby felt warm and welcoming, and the reception staff were polite, cheerful, and checked me in quickly. My room was on a higher floor, quiet and with a nice city view. What I loved most was the location — just a few steps away from both the morning and night markets. There are also many local restaurants nearby, so you can easily explore without needing transportation. The room was clean and well-equipped, with strong air conditioning and Wi-Fi. I stayed for three nights, and the housekeeping staff cleaned the room daily, replacing towels and keeping everything tidy. A great place to stay — I’ll definitely come back next time!"

Owners were very friendly and offered a free locally-sourced coffee every morning too. Their level of English was also excellent. "The house is about 500m from That Luang, the location of Vientiane International Half Marathon. I participated this event therefore I book this house. The house owner is friendly and supportive. The house is decorated with some pictures of famous places in Lao. It’s nice. The room is so big with a big bed, clean mat, pillows and blanket. A small kitchen for me can cook, the toilet is clean with separate shower, hand washing. There is a new Air Conditioner, it’s so quiet while operating. There is a big refrigerator, and a large wardrobe. There is a washing machine and drying area at third floor. I washed my clothes there. A relax area at second floor, where I had coffee and nice view to street! This actually a good place to stay. I will come back soon!"
