"Interesting hotel, as if you were still in the time of the English. The furniture is old but well maintained. Breakfast and dinner are good, but there is a lack of variety of European food. The Indian food is very spicy. The afternoon tea was very good, the teas were excellent anyway."
"Getting to Darjeeling is a challenge. The airport is only 68 km away, but the journey takes at least 3 hours, but when we arrived the way to the hotel took 4 and a half hours. The rooms were not heated, only an electric radiator tried to warm up the suite and a bed heater helped with our comfort. The hotel's price is very high and when booking, it does not allow the cancelable or modifiable option, even at a higher price. We booked, paid immediately, and then before our arrival we could have booked the same room for about 35% cheaper. It is true that no one can know in advance whether there will be a room or not, but the fact that you cannot cancel or modify it is not fair."
