Not too clean (still very acceptable and I would return). Single bed (would loved to have 2 separate beds). Air conditioner is fairly weak.

I liked the place. It was good for having a rest from busy places and enjoying the peace and beauty of a small village near the sea. It was hard to rely on public transport. If you have your car, then everything should be great

"Excelente el tamaño de la habitación incluyendo su cama con sus múltiples capas de colchas para arroparse. Tenia un parador pequeño para colocar los objetos y mochilas. El baño contaba con agua caliente al girar la perilla derecha con la izquierda al ser el de frío regulaba que tan caliente uno deseaba. Excelente servicio a la habitación, incluso proveen con más rollo de papel higiénico en caso de requerir. El hotel y sus lugares aledaños son muy tranquilos y seguros. Igual uno debe ser precavido para evitar cualquier situación. La dueña del hotel responde casi inmediatamente si se presenta una novedad."

Lamentablemente uno se percató al momento de elegir en booking.com. No especifiqué desayunos, por ende no recibí mi desayuno. La habitación no estaba aislada del frío - no contaba con calefactor. La habitación solo contaba con dos jabones y no contaba con 1 satchet/frazo pequeño de shampoo.

"We had such a lovely time at Nena House with Francoise as a welcoming hostess for our travel group of 4 adults and 6 kids (9-16). Being in touch with Francoise while planning the trip was very pleasant and professional. It was very nice she checked out dinner plans on the day we arrived before hand. The traditional houses are a delight, clean and with mosquito nets. The facilities are basic, and fine. The neighbor bar is nice for some festive vibes and a drink. The food is delicious. Eating breakfast in the garden with the beautiful view on the Rwandan hills is like paradise. Francoise is very kind in informing about local walks and in our case we where lucky enough to be there while there was a yearly harvest festival. She offered to go with us. We will never forget the experience of seeing the ceremony and traditional dancing and meeting some people in the village. If you plan a visit or are traveling through Ruhashia (near Kings Palace) we can highly recommend Nenas house!"

The road towards the accommodation may be a challenge for light weight cars, but -definitely with 4 wheel drives- if you take it easy it is doable and worth it!

"Our group of 20 had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stellas in Ziemupe. The holiday home exceeded our expectations, with 10 spacious bedrooms that perfectly accommodated each couple. The jacuzzi was a fantastic addition, and having a private beach just 400 meters away was a dream! We spent a beautiful day and night enjoying the peaceful surroundings and watching a stunning sunset by the sea. The two kitchens, one large and one smaller, made meal preparations easy and seamless for our group. The host was incredibly responsive, ensuring our check-in was smooth and that we had everything we needed. The thoughtful amenities provided made our weekend stay feel effortless and relaxing. The kitchen had everything you needed while away. The outdoor area was relaxing and the bed very comfortable. Although we were sharing the house with other people it was a perfect place to stay. "Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."

1. The cost is per person, not per room, but somehow not clearly displayed on booking.com. 2. This is an isolated house on the water edge, private and peaceful, but 40min walking through muddy path to get to seghe town/Airport although a boat transfer is only 5min. You need to bring all your food in and cook during your stay. 3. You need to enquire about the boat transfer cost, to be clear what trips are included, and what are not, otherwise you will have surprise bill in the end. 4. The water pump stopped during my 2 showers, someone needed to run downstairs to restart the pump so I could finish my showers. 5. There is no mirror in the entire house, and no towel rails in either bathroom. Maybe the owner can install them?

"Very friendly, professional and personal service. Room and facilities were very clean and well maintained. Garden and surroundings are kept neat and clean daily. Ideally located to visit tourist attractions within reasonable radius. Piggs Peak town 1km away and provides all necessary shops, fuel stations and off course a KFC."

The only bad experience was that there was no WiFi connection. I was unable to communicate with friends and family back home which made them worried and scared.
