"An older hotel with plenty of character. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was rather spartan/tired but warm and the bed was comfortable. View from the room over the surrounding vineyards was spectacular. Shower had plenty of hot water but shower head had to be held by hand which we found awkward. Breakfast was typical French style and ok. Restaurant in the evening was very good with a reasonable choice and really excellent food (we ate there both nights of our stay). Parking was on the road just up from the hotel and was free. We would happily stay there again when visiting Sancerre."

"Lovely and relaxed one night stay during a short road trip to the country side around Nice. Short, albeit steep, uphill walk to the nearby village provided beautiful views for the dinner. As a culmination, we were lucky enough to be greeted by Gaston(ette) during a wonderful breakfast. Voilà!"

"Établissement moderne très propre. Dîner le choix est simple et très bon avec un tarif plus que raisonnable. L’emplacement est un peu déroutant mais c’est hyper calme. Les gens sont vraiment très sympa. J’y retournerai volontiers."
