"Some of these reviews are ridiculous! This is a 1-star hotel in the northern part of inner Paris. No, there is not an elevator, no there is not a minibar, no there is not eggs and bacon in the 10 EUR breakfast buffet, and yes the entrance has a quite “distinct” odour as you start walking up the narrow, steep stairs. The rooms are the size and in the shape of what I would expect from a 1-star hotel, the pictures are taken with a wide-angle lens and you can hear what the neighbours are talking about. That being said, it is very close to Montmatre and you have a plethora of small, cozy cafes and brasseries, most of them with vegan offerings! This is exactly what a 1-star hotel looks like at this price range. The staff is nice and smiling, and very welcoming. Thank you for a good stay!"

"Value for money, very big and well maintained house, peaceful, there are horses, goats and geese nearby, we only stayed 1 night on our way back and it was lovely."

"Isobel, the hostess, lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. Good breakfast, but as they had 🐔, maybe some boiled 🥚 would have been nice at some time during our 5-day stay. Good shower and there was always hot water. Safe and secure place to store our very expensive bicycles."

An atmosphere of peace everywhere especially during the beautifully presented breakfast Some wonderful arty objects around make it feel a unique and quirky place to stay. Isabelle is such a perfect host, our stay was short but made us want for longer.. Next time we will, thank you !"
