"The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They were super helpful with advising about local restaurants, the bakery and supermarket as well as local attractions. We liked the location as it was quite convenient for visiting the Loire Valley - just off the Motorway but we were not disturbed by any traffic noise. The bedrooms were lovely with comfortable beds and one has a pretty view of the property's lake."

"It was close to the main road. The cottage is cute all nice and tidy. Two single beds upstairs and a sofa bed downstairs. One table with four chairs, plates, cutlery, kettle, coffee machine but no coffee."

"Laurent the host was so so welcoming and lovely. He showed us around the beautiful property and pointed out all the AMAZING nature that was around the lake over a lovely rosé. The location is exceptional and for those who love nature it is perfect as well as visiting the Dordgne region and local towns. All from the property you can enjoy watching birds of prey, herons, hear frogs, crickets, otters, watch ice clouds. And Laurent mentioned that deer come as well. The Gite had everything we needed…we are vegans so in France cooking for yourself is essential, but we had no issues with that and the bedroom was comfortable and shower and towels were great. We will definitely be back on our hunt for our dream house in France."
