"Interesting historic building well placed for my stay after a long drive from Rotterdam. Although I booked at short notice Elise had an amazing room ready for my arrival, and produced an excellent dinner of ‘Sanglier’ (wild boar) with a good bottle of wine at a very good price. After a peaceful nights sleep I was provided with a generous continental style breakfast."

"Our sincerest thanks to Dominique, the owner, for assembling an oasis of calm, an impeccably clean and thoroughly well furnished accommodation that lacked for nothing for a couple. Returning to the west facing, sunny, private terrace was always a welcoming bliss. The little stream of fish at the foot of the terrace beckoned us to return early from a day of touring to enjoy the tranquility of the location. Chapeau Dominique pour ce paradis!"

"One problem with staying in a little paradise, is forcing oneself to go out. Super comfortable, great location, and the garden and swimming pool was the icing on the cake. I was blessed with blue skies, and 28 degrees. Caught buses out to Fuegerolles, Istre, and an easy hop into Marseille. Martigues, itself is a hidden gem. A perfect stay.....thankyou Karine."
