"The house is very much ‘lived in’ with furniture everywhere. But you are very much in Ira’s home and that is the charm. It is definitely no sterile three star hotel - but a home oozing character with the most genuine of hosts."

Breakfast was a delightful romantic event with candlelight. The coffee was amazing, and the pastries were lovely and fresh. If you are looking for five-star luxury this is not for you. Right outside her house, you can see the amazing view of the whole town and Loire river. La Charité-sur-Loire is a very beautiful riverside commune, and this charming house is a great place to stay and enjoy your time there."

"Ira is a gentile host who makes her guests very welcome. Her home is your home while there and Ira does give you privacy. We were given tea on arrival (most welcome after a long hot cycle) and breakfast was beautifully laid out with good china. There was more than enough food."

"Maison avec une décoration très ancienne, salle de douche au rez de chaussée avec chambre à l’étage. Peu d’isolation phonique. Compliqué de trouver le lieu avec l’adresse. Il vaut mieux faire le tour de l’île."
