"Easy to get to in a car and close to Rouen city centre, safe private parking with an electric vehicle charging point! Building had character and the bed was comfy. Good shower too (accessible). Great communication from the host. Quiet and safe location."

"Carpet and crockery could do with replacing and a more powerful extractor fan to help with humidity after showering. We opened the lovely huge windows to let fresh air in."

"The availability of dishes, cutlery, a microwave, and a coffee machine was very useful. The room is spacious, pleasant, and comfortable. Free private parking is a very important advantage."

"The shower space is a bit tight. The heating was slightly below ideal on the nights we stayed, leaving the room a little cold but nothing uncomfortable. The parking entrance is a bit narrow, requiring extra care from drivers who are not used to tight spaces."

"A very nice apartment in central Rouen with all necessary amenities. Cosy and comfy interior. Only about 5 minutes' walk from the railway station, yet in a very peaceful and quiet area. Parking available in the inner courtyard if you come by car. Most tourist sights within walking distance."

"The only thing we didn't fancy was the fact that some of the kitchen utensils in the kitchenette were dirty when we arrived."

"Our stay at La Villa in Rouen was great. It was an ideal base for 4 nights. It is located in a quiet street, a comfortable 15 minutes walk from the centre. What we particularly appreciated was the off street, secure parking. Also another feature, that we’d not expected, was that the kitchenette was equipped with an oyster shucking knife. This enabled us to enjoy the delicious oysters we’d bought for dinner one evening! 😋"

"Prefer a shower with door to avoid water splashing on floor. A common washing machine/dryer would be a welcome facility for such a nice residence, although we were informed that an outside laundry was quite close to the residence."

"The only downside is the bathroom — it has a bathtub without a showerhead or curtain, so it’s less convenient for showering and tends to feel a bit damp."
