"The owners Alan and Edward were the perfect hosts! They recommend restaurants and places to visit, which were superb. They made sure that we had everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning was very efficient and there were sockets next to the bed making it easy to charge your phones, cameras ect. We will definitely visit again as they made us feel very relaxed and welcome. We highly recommended La Jariette"

"Allan and Edward were lovely hosts. We sat in the garden under the wisteria as we ate a marvellous platter of cheese and meats for our evening meal. The house and garden were tranquil and relaxing. Would certainly go back if we are in the vicinity again."

"A lovely quiet location in a small hamlet, a haven after a long day’s cycling. Nothing was too much trouble for our host Edward, in fact he even drove us down to a restaurant in Airvault after discovering that the local taxis were all on strike! He cares about his property and his guests, and we really felt welcomed."

"The hosts Danielle and Jon were wonderful , it helped that they have English as one of their main languages. The heated pool was a bonus, extensive garden and terrace . Excellent storage for our bikes. Danielle and Jon cooked us an exceptional 3 course meal that we ate in the main dining Room. Jon was very helpful regarding our cycle tour of La Francette and even accompanied us out of the town leading the way back to the cycle path."

"The high quality of accommodation, the local recommendations, the welcoming of the host and ability to accomodate, the gym facilities, the games for our kid, the quality of the outdoors, the quiet spots, the atmosphere in the room with local photographs, the lovely attentions being with toileteries or sweets, the homemade products being served and understanding of our taste. The friendly chats with Danielle and John and all the cuddles from their lovely cat!"

"The accommodation was full of French character, lovely home. The host were excellent and made you feel welcome from the first meeting. The accommodation was very clean and the continental breakfast was always freshly made."

"La Jariette is a beautiful property in a peaceful setting. We stayed in the smaller gite with separate access to bathroom and kitchen and this was no problem at all. Lovely garden space outside the gite to enjoy an evening meal or breakfast and right next to the pool which kept the kids happy (as well as the table tennis). Cute little village of Airvault is nearby."
