"The property, the garden, the hospitality of the hosts, the cleanliness. The property is a 100-year-old family house and has been completely refurbished with style. The property owner is renting the house not to make good money out of it, but to keep it in the family. It makes a significant difference because the house is maintained with in mind that it is a family house and not a property to be maintained in a state that should be good enough for renting."

"Un petit bémol : la literie est très souple et les coussins très plats. Ce n'était pas un problème pour ma part mais pour les personnes sensibles du dos (comme mon mari), c'est plus compliqué."

"Ideal location for us (we were fishing a competition on the canal in Bethune which was only a few minutes away). Very spacious house with large garden, which was ideal for us. Well equipped with a large kitchen and all utensils etc. required. Hosts were very accommodating to our needs"

"The only quibble was that the Wi-Fi was a little slow, but still worked OK. Both toilets/bathrooms being downstairs (all bedrooms upstairs) took a bit of getting used to, but again, not really a problem."

"Maison très agréable à vivre et très propre avec 2 WC, 2 Sdbains (bien agréable pour un groupe de 7 personnes)et une grande pièce de vie Parking pour plusieurs voitures facilement Un extérieur probablement très agreable en été mais dont nous n'avons pas profité en ce mois de janvier"

"Problème de chaudière tombée en panne le samedi soir à 23 h donc pas d'eau chaude ni chauffage pour la dernière nuit. Nous n'avons pas osé appeler la propriétaire car il était tard donc douche à l'eau froide"

"L'espace disponible notamment celui du jardin, des chambres, du salon ainsi que la vue du jardin à travers la baie vitrée étaient fantastiques."
