"Beautifully appointed Chateau dating back to the 14th Century and still owned by the same family. The rooms are full of character but with all the modern facilities. Ideal location, situated just outside the village of Nuits Saint Georges but also convenient for motorway access so great for a few days exploring but also just as a stopover. Breakfast was fresh and with top quality ingredients and good coffee. Don't be fooled by the 3 star rating Chateau de la Berchere punches well above it's weight."

"No frills and no fuss. Exactly what I needed mid way through a very long drive. Great little coffee shop by the car park entrance. Ideal for an early start."
