"Nice little house in the centre of a quiet village. Fully-equipped kitchen, modern shower room. Though there are no shops in the village, fresh bread is available every day except Mondays from a machine located on the main road around 200m from the property. There is a bar/tabac in the next village on the N67 around 2km from the house, it can also be reached by a pathway next to the railway. The house is a great base for exploring the area with easy access to the canal for walking and cycling."

"It was lovely and spacious, very clean and very well equipped. The bathroom was beautiful and the bedroom was delightful. It was also great that we could have our dog with us, and we enjoyed the peace of this charming village. Johnny, the host, was really helpful when we couldn’t get the internet working. All in all, it was a lovely place to stay."

"It was not the host’s fault, but we had to carry all our belongings from a car park some distance away to the apartment because the road was blocked off for repairs. As we had all our food and luggage, it was quite difficult, especially as we are quite ‘senior’. We were warned of this but rather too late to change our plans. Obviously, this is a temporary situation, but it made the access awkward. I also think that in the house, there should be a handrail on the stairs. It would be very easy to slip and fall as there is nothing to hold on to, so maybe a tip for Johnny to install one."

"Het was een royale en complete ruimte. Mn dieren mochten mee en ik hoefde hier niet extra voor te betalen. Er stond water in de koelkast, snoepjes op tafel, thee en koffie en wat al niet al. De instrukties om binnen te komen, parkeren en andere waren helder en duielijk. Toen ik niet wist waar de broodmachine stond hebben ze me de weg gewezen. Antwoorden op vragen kwamen snel en duidelijk. Hele mooie, rustige en fijne plek in een klein rustig dorpje, met wel een treinstation. John en Ghislaine communicereerden heel vriendelijk, waardoor ik me op mijn gemakt voelde bij hen. Mijn dieren hebben het ook heel fijn naar hun zin gehad. Heel hartelijk dank dat ze mee mochten, wordt erg gewaardeerd."
