"The room was spacious for our needs, but the TV only had one channel in English that was a good enough picture quality."

The noise, it states soundproofed but the windows are not and the hotel is in the middle of a massive building site. It says ear plugs provided in the room but you have to ask for them. Relaxing and resting is not an option and the hotel should be for working clients not holiday customers. The whole area of Sihanoukville is under construction and will be for some time building casinos for the Chinese market. Whilst at the pool we were surrounded by falling debris from the construction site adjacent. This made swimming in the pool a hazard and the stones were still in the pool the day we left.

We booked this hotel because it offered free airport shuttle. When we arrived we were informed that they no longer offer this even though it's still listed on booking.com. We were then told that they only take cash payments (even though it was booked with a card) and in addition they wanted a $20 cash deposit! When we had checked in we couldn't understand why the place smelled of stale cigarette smoke until we noticed the ashtrays all over the hotel, most of them under 'no smoking ' signs 🤣. The room smelled so bad that we went to the supermarket to buy air freshener, which only really took the edge off the smell. Finally, the mosquito/fly screen over the window was broken (big hole in it) so we woke up with bites all over us. In short. I do not recommend this place

"We were given an upstairs room as it was a public holiday so would have been noisy downstairs - there is a lovely view from the shared terrace. They do a selection of food dishes on request. The room has bug screens. It's an excellent location you can walk to the national park, the beach and the crab market."

The bathroom was very small but everything you needed was there and shower worked well. It was a little more expensive than similar places we have stayed but that may have been because of the holiday.
