"Ideal location for a short stay in Harpenden. The room was tastefully decorated with everything you need. Angelina in the pub was extremely helpful and friendly."

"Very good value for money given the location. We walked everywhere! The apartment was clean, and we should make special mention of Bhatti who brought us fresh towels and changed the bins daily with a hello and a smile. The kitchen was equipped with to make a light meal and breakfast, which was great."

The shower was a bit small.

"The welcome and treatment by staff was excellent. The room was clean and large with setttee and writing area. The restaurant was good and breakfast, while a little limited for continental,was quick and the cooked breakfast hot and well presented. I will definitely be using this Hotel for my next visits."

Parking was a nightly challenge to get a parking spot close to the hotel. To be fair all of the hotels in the general area sufferred from the same issue and there was nothing the Hotel could do about it. For foot passengers there was obviously no issue

"Great location with stunning views through the windows of our room. The temporary manager was professional, friendly and clearly knew his job! The other staff were all lovely, chatty, welcoming and working hard. Good sized bedroom and comfy bed. Special mention to the food. Attractive menu and everything we ordered was spot on. So well executed- scallops were cooked to perfection, pastry was so thin and crisp - immaculate."

The property is tired. It needs a bit of a refurb this was most obvious in the en-suite which through clean was dated. Windows, paintwork etc need redone.
