"This place and it's owner offer truly valuable experience, it is very quiet, clean and comfortable. Very close to the nature, snorkeling beach, horses. Owner is very communicative, helpful, open-minded person. I can highly recommend the breakfast. If you don't like all inclusive monsters and want to place that has 'soul' it is for you. We'd love to get back to this place."

"Our room faced the water. Great view. The room is spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a room before we rented the full house with a group of friends. Despite it being 5 rooms, sharing one bathroom, it never felt crowded. Good value for an otherwise expensive travel destination. The bus stop is right by the house and there was always available public parking."

"The way they treated me is out of my expectations. They understood my situation of flights cancellation, modification and of course my financial changes. Their is nothing i can assume to be bad. Everything was above my expectations. Everyone should try it at least. No one will say that they found something bad on this hotel.

Keine Handtücher. Toilettenpapier wurde nicht nachgefüllt. Heizung im Zimmer ließ sich nicht zurückdrehen.

It is a bit out of the town but ok if you have a car. If there are many guests you will have to queue to use the shower room and toilet as it is a shared Barth room property.

"The room was simple but comfortable and warm. The hosts were nice. The place has a soul and history so that was pretty special."

There was a group that arrived without booking and there was not enough food, so the host had to go shopping and the dinner was late. There was enough food for everyone but not much variety for warm dishes, comparing with other guesthouses on the trail. The guesthouse is located off the main trail and the trail is a bit tricky.

"We had a lovely, relaxing time at L'Hirondelle. The accommodation is beautiful, overlooking the lake. Watching the house martins dip and dive was wonderful. And a delicious breakfast was icing on the cake. Many thanks, David and Rosemary"

The only downside was that the restaurant was closed due to the holidays.

"They upgraded us to a better room in the Dar Alma hotel with a sea view. It was gorgeous, and the breakfast was delicious. One of the best places to stay in Tyre."

The flush in the bathroom didn't work, and they never came to fix it during our stay. Before arriving, they were very insistent in calling and asking for our arrival time, so I would reduce the communication with the staff if possible.

"Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

I think some basic essentials would be nice, like salt, pepper, and oil to cook with:-)

Entrance is hard to find, I first thought I was in the wrong place.

Luckily there was some parking available on the street, otherwise we might have a problem. No dedicated parking for the hotel.

As a grown up solo traveller, who is oftentimes ready to accept challenging environments, I cannot make any critical remarks. Right now due to the russian full scale invasion, hospitality businesses all over Ukraine are struggling for survival, which makes critical remarks even more misplaced. The bottom line is – I liked the property.
