Parking is very tight. The water drainage (room 11) in the shower flows the wrong way so it can be tricky to avoid flooding the place. Since there is no water mixer, it takes time to get the water temperature correct. Turning the water off and back on because of poor drainage is not ideal for a 4 night stay in luxury accommodation.

"Maguy and her husband are excellent hosts. Very friendly, breakfast is a lovely surprise every day with local fruit and dishes, made with love. Peaceful, quiet place where you find your peace. With only 2 rooms you almost are alone in the property and the swimmingpool. As we had our flight in the evening we could enjoy the whole day of the facilities. Magnificent view, a little paradise on earth. The room is very spacious with ensuite bathroom. If we can mention one thing to improve: the shower needs a renovation. Further on make sure you have good products to keep the mosquitos away. But absolutely no reason to stay away from this quiet little gem!"

"The house is in a glorious position overlooking the harbour on one side and open sea on the other with a lovely deck and swimming pool. Federica, the house keeper is helpful and cooks a good breakfast and other meals as requested. Bedrooms are rustic but clean and overall the house is peaceful and quiet but with enough guests to enjoy conversation if you want to."

As other reviews say, the road leading to the house is diabolical but it slows speeding down.

There was an initial problem with payment to secure the booking. Our French is very poor & it was difficult to communicate with staff on the phone & by email. Some black mould in the wardrobe.

"The room and the whole atmosphere/service felt more like a classical hotel than a hostel, so the price was more than fair. The staff are extremely engaged in making their guests feel comfortable and they even organized fresh glutenfree bread for breakfast. The location is a little off in Zona 10, but everything needed is within reach by foot and/or taxi."

My room had a desk, which accommodated electric plugs, but there were none beside the bed. When the window was not open, the air got a little stuffy, presumably from the included bathroom.

"Perfect location to explore the old town of San Marino. Walking around to the cable car. There was another family staying there so it was a bit awkward with them using the same front door and walking past our room. It meant our bathroom and living area were not as private as they could have been. But as we were mostly out exploring it didn't bother us much. Very friendly hosts who explained everything. We didn't find the aircon despite it listing it had it...."

"It is very cozy and amazing place. I like not very big hotels with warm attitude from all of stuff. And this hotel is admirable according my choice. Not very big, near old center of the city, quite cheap, very clean and with gorgeous owners. The breakfast is separate song in this story)) It was huge, very tasty and very Georgian. "Superb experience at Camping Mittagsspitze. Lovely little bungalow perfect for our needs with good, clean facilities. Pool was wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed by my 8 year old. Location is fantastic by the mountains; really amazing views. Would stay again. Thanks!"

"Quiet peaceful cottage in the heart of the city - well connected by metro and bus routes and easily reachable by cab or auto. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I was traveling solo on a leisure visit and I felt very comfortable and safe throughout. They have a good breakfast spread. The property is very green and cosy."

The acoustics. I had to come out several times to ask for music or speaking volume to be reduced as it would echo throughout the building to my room when I was trying to sleep.

The property was great and Saritas daily fresh bread made breakfast delicious . Sadly Sharron only arrived at the end of our stay she was a mine of local knowledge and would have been great to tap into

"It felt like a little haven to come home to, somewhere quiet away from the city! The owners (Raquel and her father Jorge) are truly lovely and the staff are always happy to help with anything. I felt very safe staying here especially with the gated entrances. The garden was beautifully kept, consisting of tropical plants and flowers. The food was fresh and the staff made lunch and dinner if requested too. AC worked well, shower was hot, bed was comfy! I unfortunately got struck down with food poisoning on my last day, so we needed to check out later than expected so I could rest - they didn’t bat an eyelid when we asked and even provided me with some fresh watermelon/bread upon request. I sadly left a pair of my special earrings in my room too, and when Whatsapping Raquel, she confirmed her staff had found them and very honestly kept them safe so I could arrange shipping to the UK!"

Nothing we didn’t like, bear in mind it’s a B&B so make sure you get water bottles for the room etc which you can buy there for $1, there isn’t a safe in the room either if you’re considering bringing valuables (not that I didn’t feel safe with my belongings there).

"I checked out the room and then in the airport I got the news that my flight was delayed for 5 hours. I came back in the hotel and they allowed me to stay in my room. Thanks for understanding. The hotel doesn't offer food though they recommended the good restaurant nearby. They have a driver to arrange a transfer when necessary. So nice when we were in a rush to the airport!I"

I would recommend to renew towels. They were clean but old.

Very nice outdoor swimming pool and whole place in a gated secure compound. Basic continental breakfast that you help yourself to in the communal kitchen. Owners are lovely and very helpful. "Located five minutes from the Jesuit ruins, the Posada Maria is a good base for exploring the region. The hotel is very clean and modern and has everything you need for a short stay. The pool is great to cool off on the warm summer days and the breakfast is amazing, a true continental one with delicious bread (hard to come by in South America) and a good variation of products. We had dinner here as well, which was super good as well. German kitchen, but refreshing after our month travelling around! Staff is very kind and friendly and can give tips and advice! When the rain started dripping through the roof into our room, we immediately got another one. Very smooth!"
