"The hosts, Besim and his wife, are very attentive: they waited for our late arrival to let us park on the property, and served delicious breakfasts. The property is very clean, the beds are comfortable, the balcony with a view of the castle has a sofa and a small table where we ate some meals. While the location is around 25 minutes of walking away from the main attractions, the atmosphere in the quarter is lovely. When we arrived on a Sunday, we felt transported back to the 1960s and '70s in terms of social interaction: groups of elderly sitting in the shade and talking, kids riding bycicles and playing ball, women with strollers chatting, a serene sense of weekend calm. Peole were talking to each other, very few on their phones! A great market is held on weekdays nearby. The walk back from the old town or castle in the evening was lovely in the cool evening air."

"The location is really good. 6 minute drive from the castle and old town. The rooms are good. They are exactly as per the photos. Beds are comfortable. The breakfast they provide was one of the most delicious we’ve eaten in Albania. Staff were really friendly and made us feel comfortable."
